Meet a Hopi artist who still makes jewelry using traditional materials to make his wooden earrings, carved bolo ties, beaded jewelry and jewelry boxes. He will demonstrate the traditional method of used in making these lovely pieces and then you can create your own one-of-a-kind treasure!
Meet a Navajo potter who still travels 6 hours to northern Arizona to gather clay from his reservation. This is your opportunity to experience the feel of clay and create your own piece of pottery.
The graceful images of people gliding through dance-like poses as they practice tai chi (TIE-chee) are compelling. Simply watching them is relaxing. Tai chi, in fact, is often described as "meditation in motion" because it promotes serenity through gentle movements — connecting the mind and body.
